ESGs and SDGs
The purpose of the United Nations SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESGs (Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria) in our world is to promote sustainable development and responsible business practices. SDGs provide a comprehensive framework of 17 goals aimed at addressing global challenges, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and more. They guide governments, organizations, and individuals towards actions that foster social, economic, and environmental progress. ESGs, on the other hand, are criteria used to assess a company's sustainability performance, including its environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance. ESGs encourage businesses to operate in a socially and environmentally conscious manner, promoting long-term value creation and mitigating risks. Together, SDGs and ESGs contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive world.
